I built this costume for Toontown Rewritten, a fan-made revamp of Disney's mass multiplayer online game, Toontown Online. Flippy is a non-player character and the game's mascot. This costume brings the beloved character into the real world so he can interact with fans, take photos, and sign autographs. You can meet Flippy yourself at Toontown Rewritten's annual "ToonFest" event, hosted at various conventions across the US.

Flippy is one of my most intricate builds to date, so allow me to highlight some of his coolest features! His one-of-a-kind outfit features hand dyed shorts and sewn in shirt stripes. The gloves were patterned to have maximum dexterity for signing autographs. They also have machine embroidered lines on the back which were designed and programmed into the machine by yours truly. His nose is 3D printed and coated in resin. His eyes are fully plastic with a dark tint on the pupils for the actor see out. He has airflow vents in the mouth and eyelids. The shoes are made to secure to tennis shoes and are non-slip both on the bottom and inside, allowing any actor to wear whatever shoes are most comfortable.
